The movers themselves were good and worked hard. No issues with them as they did their best moving us but it took 7 hours… not counting the one hour commute to the house which was expected
This is where I caution you with the planners. We booked a month in advance and outlined all of the furniture we had including a stationary bike, weight equipment and bicycles. Apartment moving to house. A follow up call days before we reiterated the same (even listing the weight plates by pounds) confirmed we only have two hours for the service elevator, more than 30+ boxes at that point. We even asked if they had a big enough truck. The guy on the call insisted we were fine and wouldnt even need the two hour window for service elevator.
So the two movers couldnt finish in time and the service elevator had expired. They used the regular access elevator. They needed 3 hours to fully move us, were surprised by the stationary bike and the weights and while they did their best absolutely exhausted, they finished in 8 hours total… We also helped move mattresses to livingroom. The charge came to more than $1000
So if they say you need 2 movers insist on 4 so at least your whole day isnt the move itself even if its 1000 out of pocket. I would consider them again but I’ll tell them how many movers I need.
